For over 80 years, the University of St. Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminary has been preparing young men for the priesthood.  Today, Mundelein Seminary is the largest major seminary in the country and serves the Church with both a national and international outreach.

Over 200 seminarians live and study on the campus of the university and seminary.  Many are preparing for the Diocese of Chicago; many more are studying for 46 other dioceses in the U.S. and around the world.

These generous donors support the seminarians, enabling them to reach their goal of ordination and, most especially, their goal of service and Sacramental Ministry to God's people, the Church.
